Our city and its leadership has an economy that primarily focuses on peoples overall wellbeing the city's overall prosperity and stewarding our environment and leaving a legacy and inheritance for our children's children.

To achieve our vision KCLCs focuses on reforming and restoring key pillars of society; Education, Employment, individual welling being

business plan is to establish a variety of functioning social enterprises, creating not only a unique opportunity for our youth to gain real-world learning and on the job experience but also local community jobs. Participating youth working within the social enterprises will be provided the opportunities to obtain recognised Certificate-level qualifications, opening the pathway towards full trade qualifications. We aim to reform the current systems through advocacy, collaboration, early intervention, alternative schooling, innovative education, and social enterprise. Based on the learning and support needs of the individual rather than the system.

At KCLC our participants are not just students, trainees, employees, they are individual young people with needs unique to them. We strongly believe in taking a holistic approach in supporting our young people. We aim to address many factors of social disadvantage, such as housing, nutrition, mental health, social and emotional wellbeing, cultural and faith needs, and employment pathways. As such KCLC have not only linked with existing support services, we also provide our own human services,  educational and training programs, ongoing employment opportunities and pastoral care, for not only our participants but their families as well.
